Eels Respond to Brown News
Parramatta Eels head of football Mark O’Neill, has responded to the leaking of an email from five-eighth Dylan Brown’s management, offering his services for the 2026 season.
As covered by 1 Eyed Eel last week, Brown is yet to exercise his player option and his management has gone to market.
O’Neill though has said the Eels are in discussions with Brown and are confident of retaining him into the future.
Curiously though, Brown’s management seems to be upset their email was leaked, considering how information easily leaks in the NRL world.
Moretti extends
Italy international and Eels junior Luca Moretti has extended his stay in the Blue and Gold, signing on for a further three seasons.
After debuting in 2023, Moretti has shown signs of promise and his continued development will see him battling it out for a top 17 spot in 2025.
Mannah returns in new role
Former Parramatta Eels captain Tim Mannah has returned to the club he represented for 10 years as a Foundation Ambassador.
The former NSW Blues forward joins Eels legend Peter Sterling as an ambassador for the Foundation’s initiatives covering pathways and academy programs and key community initiatives.
