The Extraordinary General Meeting driven by disgraced former Eels chairman Roy Spagnolo failed to materialise on Tuesday 19 November.
Spagnolo and his “Make Parramatta Great Again” faction failed to turn up and a quorom not reached.
The EGM was dissolved and none of the resolutions were passed.
In a clear statement from the Parramatta Leagues Club membership, online voting overwhelming rejected the resolutions put forward.
1 Eyed Eel revealed earlier in the year that Roy Spagnolo was driving yet another attempt to wrest power from the club he once helmed, despite being f
ound by the independent regulator to not be a fit and proper person to be a director of a club.
Spagnolo was also suspended by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) in 2023 from practicing as an accountant after two of his audits failed to comply with auditing standards.
