Parramatta Eels halfback Mitchell Moses will fill the captaincy boots of former fullback Clint Gutherson for the 2025 season.
Moses has been appointed following a stand out 2024 season which saw him lead NSW and Australia to Origin and Pacific Championships glory respectively.
His focus now turns to lifting the Eels off the bottom of the ladder after the Blue and Gold finished in 15th in 2024.
The talismanic halfback only featured 9 times for the club during a horror season that saw them battle it out with the Wests Tigers for the wooden spoon.
With 2 Origin series wins now under his belt and staking his claim for the Kangaroos number 7, Moses will aim to guide the Eels to the Promised Land in 2025.
